What you’ll do
* Guide, mentor, and inspire a team of consultants to reach their highest potential.
* Support their professional development plans, ensuring their growth and success.
* Cultivate a culture of teamwork, innovation, and passion, promoting trust and unity among team members.
* Collaborate with the national team to execute initiatives locally.
* Coordinate with the NSW manager and team leaders to achieve targets.
* Management of your own projects of small to medium scale.
* Oversee delivery of projects and development of your team members through effective resourcing of projects both in reactive and scheduled project scenarios.
* Empower senior staff to drive a high-performance culture and contribute to business development initiatives.
* Develop business development strategies and contribute to market action plans for targeted clients.
* Prepare compelling proposals and lead projects to meet budget and strategic goals.
* Uphold a strong safety culture and champion safety initiatives.
About you
You're likely to have extensive experience in hazmat and/or occupational hygiene consulting, you’re open to feedback and continuous improvement, and you maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
In addition, you bring the following skills and attributes:
* Advanced experience in assessing workplace hazards and environmental factors, risk management, and project scope management.
* Proven track record in business development, proposal writing, and delivering exceptional client outcomes and cost-effective solutions.
* Skilled in management of staff and/or willingness to further develop these skills.
* Relevant professional certifications and ongoing training in SHEQ, project management, and client-centricity.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Applied Science, Environmental Engineering, Building Surveying, or Occupational Health and Safety.
