What you’ll do
Device Operations, Products, and Services sits within Vodafone UK’s Consumer Business Unit, also supporting the Enterprise Business Unit, with a reporting line into Vodafone Group Product & Services. Our team’s purpose is to evaluate, develop, deliver, and manage market-leading, profitable products and services that enhance customer experiences.
As a Commercial Analyst, you will provide insights into the end-to-end logistics chain, assessing performance against budget, forecasting, and tracking key commercial KPIs. Your output will be shared with senior leaders in weekly and monthly meetings to support strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Data Collection & Analysis – Gathering, interpreting, and analysing data from both internal teams (logistics, finance) and external third-party sources.
2. Reporting & Insights – Developing reports that measure logistics performance, budget adherence, and commercial KPIs.
3. Collaboration – Working closely with internal and external teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
This role is integral to optimizing Vodafone’s logistics operations, ensuring data-driven decisions that enhance efficiency and profitability.
Who you are
This analytical role requires the individual to be well organised with a keen attention to detail whilst being approachable maintaining a positive relationship with external parties. You will need to successfully examine and assess data from a variety of sources, ranging from logistical data, pricing data to customer segment profiles and cost data.
In terms of technical skills, we will look for:
1. Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
2. Financial and performance based KPI management.
3. Has previously used online analytic tools such as Tableau / Adobe Analytics.
4. Power BI knowledge.
5. SQL knowledge – nice to have.
