Our consultancy client is seeking Project Managers at various seniority levels to support their AMP8 Thames Water and South East Water frameworks.\n\nThe roles are permanent with hybrid working out of Thames offices (Reading/London) and South East Water (Snodland) 2/3 days a week.\n\nOur client offers candidates the chance to build a career as a Project Manager; their collaborative Project Managers transform potential into reality. You'll manage every aspect of the project lifecycle from bid stage to delivery, helping Water customers initially deliver controlled change, enrich lives, and transform their businesses. This is a fantastic opportunity to build long-term relationships with world-class clients.\n\nOur client is ideally seeking candidates with Water industry experience but will be open to Assistant PMS, PMs and Senior PMs that have worked in regulatory environments.
The key for these roles is to identify aspiring LEADERS that can support Water sector clients.\n\nThere will be opportunity to move into other client support roles in future across a range of sectors.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProvide high-quality project and programme management standards across the whole project lifecycle.\nAdvise clients on the project cost, programme, risks, and issues.\nLead and manage multi-disciplinary professional teams.\nLead communications and relationships with clients and their stakeholders.\nProduce monthly reports including project programmes\nImplement effective and efficient communication tools.\nDevelop delivery plans for projects, involve others and ensure objectives are met.\nChallenge the status quo and perform to a high standard in changing environments.\nConstantly pursue performance improvement. \n\nSkills/experience/qualifications\n\nWater/wastewater project management experience under NEC form of contract\nHold or be working towards a Project Management Qualification with APM, RICS or similar.\nExperience of infrastructure projects and/or programme management across the project lifecycle.\nExperience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team.\nExperience in the adoption and management best practice Project Management techniques.\nKnowledge of pre and post contract Project Management responsibilities and able to deliver this service effectively to Clients.\nThe ability to manage a project throughout its lifecycle.\nHave strong stakeholder management skills and be comfortable working with multiple types of stakeholders with diverse range of personalities \n\nBenefits\n\nSalary circa £40-70k depending on level of experience - roles at APM, PM and SPM available\nProgression opportunities into other roles/sectors e.g. Defence\nGenerous holiday allocation\nCompetitive pension scheme\nCompany benefits/discounts\nPaid professional memberships\nMentorship and support developing as a Leader
