The purpose of the role is to provide Health & Safety Consultancy within the following sectors subject to competency:
* Social Care
* Charities
* Retail & Commercial
* Religious Organisations
* Automotive
* Engineering & Manufacturing
* Haulage & Distribution
You will be responsible for covering a region between Oxford & Birmingham. Travelling to client sites is an integral part of this role and some overnight stays will be necessary.N.B, This is not a contractor role. The role is a 5 day per week client facing role.ResponsibilitiesAs a Health & Safety Consultant, you will,
1. Work to an agreed “scope of work” and timescale with each client.
2. Produce and review risk assessments, safe systems of work, method statements, policies, fire risk assessments etc
3. Carry out site audits, inspections etc
4. Be adaptable to different client environments
5. Present audit / report findings to a range of clients including as necessary boards of trustees, governors, or directors etc.
6. Carry out accident investigations if required and assist with, preparation of a legal defence should this prove necessary
7. Must have a good understanding of RIDDOR.
