As our new Credit Controller, you will be working as part of a dynamic European finance team, responsible for managing overdue accounts through to completion, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, reconciling invoices, resolving account queries, and following the company’s credit collection policies and procedures.
This is a REMOTE OPPORTUNITY.
Responsibilities:
* Collection of overdue accounts – managing an individual sales ledger
* Ensuring timely payment of debts
* Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices in a timely manner
* Liaising with internal departments
* Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances and ensuring accounts are reconciled accurately
* Processing card payments
* Implementing changes in the company’s credit control system
Requirements for Success:
* Minimum years of experience with Credit Control
* Good IT skills including all MS Office products, with a particular emphasis on Excel
* Good analytical skills with the ability to adapt to new IT packages
* Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills (proficient English)
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Structured with good time management skills and committed to achieving targets
* A genuine interest in working with and helping customers
* Experience with ERP systems / Netsuite
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
