Job Description Join Lockheed Martin’s team at RNAS Culdrose as a Quality Assurance (QA) Representative for our Integrated Merlin Operational Support (IMOS) and Crowsnest (CN) contracts. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role ensuring the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement for critical military aviation systems. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: Maintain UK MoD MAA and Lockheed Martin Design Approved Organisation Scheme (DAOS) certifications, ensuring ongoing compliance with aerospace and defence regulations. Quality Inspections: Oversee the inspection, acceptance, and quality control of advanced avionics, mission systems, aircraft modifications, and Merlin Training Systems to meet rigorous military standards. Audits & Certifications: Support external audits and ensure continued AS9100 certification for all related activities. Root Cause Analysis & Improvement: Lead root cause investigations and drive process improvements to enhance performance and quality. Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and external regulatory bodies to ensure quality across the supply chain and operational activities. Delegated Signatory: Act as a signatory for equipment release, ensuring compliance and readiness for operations. What You’ll Bring: Proven experience in Quality Assurance, particularly in aerospace or military aviation. Strong knowledge of UK MoD MAA regulations, AS9100, and Defence Standard 05-61. Expertise in inspections, audits, and process improvement. A collaborative mindset, with the ability to engage with both internal teams and external partners.
