We are thrilled to invite applicants to a newly established role as Principal Clinical Psychologist providing advanced psychological assessment, formulation, intervention, leadership and supervision as part of the Psychology Team at the North Wales Adolescent Service(NWAS).
NWAS provides Intensive Community Support and Specialist Eating Disorder Services for young people age – across North Wales as well as the Inpatient Ward for Young People from North Wales and North Powys. There will be opportunities to work within all areas of the service.
Main duties of the job
You will work with lively, multi-disciplinary team members including nursing, social work, medical and dietetic colleagues and part of your role would be the supervision of lower banded Psychology colleagues.
You will contribute to team training, service development and evaluation via research and audit initiatives and be encouraged to create links with the a wider network, especially community CAMHS teams, across the region.
We would also encourage and support you to pursue your own areas of personal development such as research or gaining increased competence or accreditation in a relevant therapeutic model.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
