Senior Cost Engineer/Data Analyst
Location: Frimley Based
Rate: £52.78 an hour Umbrella OR £45.82 PAYE Inside IR35
Contract Duration: 6 Month Contract initially.
This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UKs leading defence organisations based in Frimley. Hybrid working is available with 3 days per week on site.
Responsibilities:
* The role holder will take the lead on Data Analysis for the cost team within the DN PMO, supporting the EAC and IYFM processes with data analysis and variance reporting.
* Collaborate and support the programme delivery teams with the IYFM and EAC process.
* Communicate effectively and pose constructively challenging questions on delivery to peers and managers within ICS.
* Take the lead on Dassian Workbench, including implementation, troubleshooting, and process leadership.
* Adapt and apply PM&C practices in different circumstances and guide others in their application.
Knowledge:
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of PM&C policies, processes, procedures, and systems.
* Experience within a project demonstrating PM&C knowledge.
* Understanding of one or more PM&C tools, techniques, and practices.
* Knowledge of the business environment for their project.
* Experience with PM governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs).
* Ability to influence stakeholders to achieve business success.
* Understanding of the wider PM&C environment and developments in the field.
* Knowledge acquired through job-related training and experience.
* Experience in building relationships and negotiating outcomes with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:
* Application of related PM competencies is expected at this level.
* A University Degree or substantial practical knowledge gained through experience is typically required.
* A PM Qualification such as the Project Management Qualification (APM) is expected.
