We are currently looking to appoint an Admin Assistant to work in the Clinic Co-Ordination Team at the Den within the Family Care Division.
The successful candidate must be customer focused, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Monday - Friday (Specific working hours to be agreed with successful candidate).
Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure are essential requirements together with great attention to detail for ensuring data is recorded accurately onto the patient administration system.
To be successful in this role you will possess excellent interpersonal and IT skills, GCSE Maths and English grade A–C (or equivalent) and have relevant office/secretarial experience. You must have effective communication skills and be adaptable to meet the service needs.
Knowledge of medical terminology, customer care and previous NHS experience are also desirable.
The main emphasis of this role is to provide a comprehensive and courteous clerical service within the Clinic Co-ordination team. For example: provide a comprehensive administrative service to the team, whilst working in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Duties will include recording appointment outcomes, filing correspondence and reports in patient case notes, answering the telephone and taking/dealing with queries as appropriate, and action any and all administrative tasks you are assigned, such as filling a cancellation slot.
