Hornby High School is seeking a specialist teacher for a full-time permanent position. The position requires a caring and skilled individual who is happy to work with students (in one-to-one situations or in small groups) within or alongside the mainstream class. This role will primarily involve working closely with students funded by the Ongoing Resourcing Scheme (ORS), providing support for students with the highest ongoing levels of need, programme development, and facilitating students to join and learn alongside other students at school. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in working with and implementing programmes for students with special needs, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Applicants must be fully registered; this position is not suitable for a provisionally registered teacher.
