Commercial Analyst Location: Bromley, London Work Arrangement: Hybrid Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum Start Date: Immediate Our client, one of the world’s largest insurance groups, is seeking a talented Commercial Analyst to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to contributing to the organisation’s growth and performance, and shape the future of key products. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Managing Director, helping to develop and execute a rolling three-year growth strategy. You’ll provide essential financial analysis, operational support, and strategic insights, ensuring the business remains on track to achieve its ambitious goals. Role Responsibilities: Strategic Planning : Partner with the MD to design and implement a three-year strategic plan for key products. Revenue Tracking: Track current and forecasted revenue, including in-depth analysis of True Ups, on a monthly basis. Reporting: Establish and maintain meaningful and consistent reporting processes for various teams. Pricing Analysis: Lead the pricing recommendation and approval process. Return on Investment (ROI): Carry out ROI evaluations for the company’s key products. Sales Enablement: Develop compelling new business materials and assist the underwriting team in crafting customer proposals. Financial Support: Contribute to budgeting and reforecasting activities. Integration Projects: Support integration initiatives over the next 12 months. Pipeline Development: Implement a data-driven approach to pipeline development. SharePoint Management: Restructure SharePoint to improve access to critical data. Team Coaching: Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of 10, empowering them to excel in their independent roles. Skills / Experience: Proven track record in project management or commercial analysis, ideally with at least two years in consultancy. Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is desirable but not essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on pricing strategies and ROI analysis. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A methodical, data-driven approach to decision-making and pipeline development. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to guide and coach team members effectively.
