Lifeways are looking for a Care Team Leader to work alongside our Service Manager in the leadership and day-to-day management of our established services in Melton Mowbray. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate a team of support workers to ensure excellent person-centred care and support is delivered.
* Involved in the recruitment and ongoing development of support workers by carrying out staff supervisions, candidate interviews, and providing general guidance and expertise.
* Communicate effectively with staff, people we support, and outside professionals.
* Maintain good written communication and IT skills for record keeping.
Requirements:
* 37.5 hours. Flexibility to work early and late shifts on a rota basis Monday to Sunday is required.
* Must hold a full UK Driving Licence as driving company cars is required.
* Experience as a Care Team Leader/Senior Support Worker holding an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is an advantage.
