We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to join us on a 3-month contract initially. This role will be critical in maintaining and structuring network documentation, updating databases, and managing access within our network infrastructure. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with UK mobile telecom operators, suppliers, and vendors in a dynamic, detail-oriented environment.
The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, self-motivated, and highly organized, with a strong aptitude for IT and exceptional communication skills. This role involves a mix of independent tasks and collaborative efforts within a small, dedicated team.
Main Responsibilities
* Documentation Management: Maintain and structure network documentation, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
* Database Management: Update and oversee databases related to network faults and access controls.
* Access Control: Manage permissions and access for network systems, ensuring security and compliance.
* Fault Tracking: Assist in identifying, tracking, and resolving network faults and issues.
* Collaboration: Work closely with IT and support teams to ensure seamless operations.
* Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular reports on network status, faults, and resolutions.
* Technical Administrative Support: Provide administrative updates and data analysis to the network support team as needed.
Requirements
Experience and Skills
* Previous experience in a similar role or a technical support role is desirable but not essential.
* Strong understanding of basic network concepts and IT systems.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information effectively.
* A proactive approach and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* A strong desire to learn and develop their skills further
Desirable but not essential
* Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
* Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
* ITIL Foundation
