Salary: £83.34 – £96 per day
GSL Education Hull are currently seeking an attentive and creative Nursery Practitioner to join one of our esteemed, primary client schools in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant, supportive environment, starting immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality, Early Years Education to pre-schoolers within the Nursery setting, ensuring their development and well-being are nurtured to their peak potential.
Nursery Practitioner – Key Attributes:
* As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting and facilitating the educational development of young children in their early years.
* You will assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
* Work collaboratively with a team of nursery professionals to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging learning experiences based on the children's individual needs.
Nursery Practitioner – Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of Early Years core curriculum, including play-based learning, ensuring children are actively engaged and supported in their development.
* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and carers.
* Create a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported.
* Provide personal care where required, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
* Foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Nursery Practitioner – Key Standards:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Childcare, or equivalent field.
* Preceding experience being employed within a Nursery or Early Years setting, ideally with children aged 0–5.
* A sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for Early Childhood Education.
* A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
