Key Responsibilities: Estates Management: Oversee the council's property portfolio, including asset management, lease renewals, rent reviews, acquisitions, and disposals. Valuation and Appraisals: Conduct property valuations and market appraisals for various asset types within the portfolio. Strategic Property Advice: Provide professional advice on property and estate matters, supporting the council's goals and budget requirements. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including council teams, external agencies, and tenants to ensure alignment with council strategies. Project Support: Assist in property projects that drive efficiencies, improve revenue generation, and support sustainable property management across the estate.Qualifications and Experience: Chartered Status: MRICS or MCIOB essential. Relevant Experience: Demonstrable experience in estates and property management within a public sector or local authority environment is highly desirable.
