As a result of this, they are now looking to recruit a Service Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proven and now looking to progress and develop their career further.
As a Service Engineer, you will take full responsibility for service, maintenance, and repair of bespoke machinery.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine and preventative maintenance activities
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
3. Perform repairs and installations of mechanical and electrical systems
4. Carry out service tasks, including inspections, adjustments, and performance tests
5. Work with teams to improve processes and operational efficiency
6. Ensure all planned maintenance is completed on time and in full
7. Attend breakdowns to resolve issues quickly and effectively
8. Identify long term corrective actions on breakdowns to negate recurrence
9. Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
As a skilled and experienced Engineer, you will have honed your expertise within industrial settings and developed a solid understanding of maintaining and servicing industrial equipment, including capital machinery. While an electrical bias is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.
The company seeks an Engineer who is flexible and willing to travel extensively across the UK and internationally, with potential trips lasting up to two weeks at a time.
