Azure Architect – Reading (3 days a week)
Salary: £85,000-£90,000
GS Solutions are partnered with growing SAAS business who are looking for a Senior Azure Architect to join their team on a permanent basis.
You will:
* Develop and implement cloud architectures using Azure services to meet client requirements.
* Lead the deployment of Azure solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
* Act as the primary technical contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into technical requirements.
* Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
* Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud solutions to ensure they meet performance and availability requirements.
* Ensure that all cloud solutions comply with security policies and best practices.
* Create detailed documentation of solutions (e.g. architecture, configuration and set-up) and provide training to clients and internal teams.
* Support Business Development and Technical Pre-sales
Skills and requirements:
* 3-5 years’ experience as a technical architect, with a solid technical background on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Security.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their business needs, and ensure their satisfaction.
* Excellent teamwork and leadership abilities. Able to manage client relationships effectively and work collaboratively with internal teams.
* Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions.
* Experience with D365 business applications and/or Power Platform is considered a plus
* Relevant Azure certifications are highly desirable (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
* Hands-on person with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
