With our exponential growth, we are looking for incredible individuals to join us and continue our success story About The Role We are recruiting for a CAD Engineer to join Wren in a dynamic Engineering Project team based out of head office site in Barton-upon-Humber. Salary starts from: £39,500 Quarterly Bonus up to £750. Main Responsibilities: Develop and modify detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for factory layouts, infrastructure, and machinery placement using AutoCAD software. Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and project managers to interpret design specifications and requirements. Design efficient production workflows, ensuring optimal use of space and resources in factory layouts. Create detailed plans for the installation, relocation, and movement of machinery and equipment within new or existing facilities. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate utilities, safety systems, and production requirements into the layout design. Revise designs to reflect ongoing construction changes or modifications in machinery and equipment needs. Provide technical support during the installation and setup of equipment and systems, ensuring designs are correctly implemented on-site. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental requirements. Requirement for Travel to Wren sites both UK and US to as built factories where needed. About You Key Skills and desires: Proven experience and qualifications in AutoCAD or similar. Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong understanding of industrial machinery, equipment placement, and production processes.
