Your New Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance on all asset-managed renewable energy sites. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing routine maintenance and fault resolution on renewable energy sites, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
* Reviewing and monitoring the performance of all asset-managed sites on a scheduled rota, including weekend cover
* Identifying, recording, and proactively addressing faults to ensure the ongoing efficiency of the systems
* Managing and completing Low Voltage electrical design and installation tasks
* Conducting site performance analysis and making recommendations for operational improvements
* Completing detailed reports on site performance, maintenance activities, and fault rectifications
Your Background
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* City and Guilds 2365-02/03 (or equivalent), City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent), and BS7671 18th Edition
* A methodical, accurate, and process-driven approach to your work
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Proficiency with computer systems and software
* A valid driving license
* Flexibility to work across the UK, including evenings and weekends, as required
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electrical engineering industry
Desired Skills
* Experience in PV installation and maintenance
* CAD experience
* Experience in communications set-up and configuration
* Experience in High Voltage design, installation, and maintenance
