Glasgow will host the 23rd edition of Commonwealth Games between 23 July and 2 August 2026. Approximately 3,000 athletes and team officials from up to 74 nations and territories across the Commonwealth will come together in a 11-day celebration of sport and culture. Events will take place across Glasgow, entertaining around 500,000 ticketed spectators and reaching a global broadcast audience of more than one billion.
Glasgow 2026 Limited, the Organising Company (the OC), is organising the Games along with the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) and Commonwealth Games Scotland (CGS). Each has key parts to play in the planning and delivery of the Commonwealth Games - individually and collectively - to ensure that Glasgow 2026 is a huge success.

We are seeking a technology specialist to join the Glasgow 2026 team as Senior Manager, Results Technology Services. The postholder is responsible for working closely with our technology partners to design, plan, implement and manage parts of the results services programme across all venues and sports within the Games programme.
Key objectives will include acting as the primary technology representative and subject matter expert within the Organising Company for all allocated programme responsibilities. In addition, the postholder will be the single point of contact for planning, delivery, and operation of results services across a selection of venues and sports.
The successful postholder, will report to the Chief Information Officer, and will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar field with knowledge of the Olympic Data feed protocol and development processes or similar sports data feeds and APIs. In addition, Senior Manager, Results Technology Services should have familiarity and experience working with the Olympic Results and Information Services, an understanding of software development and testing lifecycle processes.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager, Results Technology Services will be required to work closely with the Timing & Scoring (TSR) and Results Information Systems (RIS) partners to design, plan, implement and manage parts of the results services programme across venues/sports within the Commonwealth Games programme. They will be required to work with our stakeholders to lead the design, development and implementation of the TV on-screen graphics by the TSR Supplier. In addition, they will act as the single point of contact for the planning, delivery, and operation of results services across a selection of venues and sports. Collaboration is key in this role and the postholder will be expected to work closely with their colleagues and partners within Technology to plan all aspects of results service delivery.
Education:
The Senior Manager, Results Technology Services should have 2 plus years’ experience in sports events in results technology or a similar field. In addition, they should possess a recognised project management qualification or demonstrate relevant experience.

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Results Technology Services who has proven experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will have exceptional analytical skills and the ability to adapt their style of communication ensuring a concise and clear approach.
Key attributes include being a proven record of delivering project objectives within a complex, zero error tolerant, time critical, technology, sport, or event project environment.
In addition, the successful candidate should also display an understanding of sports rules, processes and procedures at an elite competition level.
