Your new role
1. Collaborate with management and senior management on group reporting under IFRS.
2. Prepare statutory financial statements under FRS 101 and the Companies Act 2006.
3. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on group reporting and management accounting requirements.
4. Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate posting of accounting journals.
5. Contribute to the preparation and submission of internal control reports for parent entities.
6. Support key strategic projects, including the implementation of new accounting requirements.
7. Maintain accounting policies and procedures in compliance with IFRS and other relevant standards.
8. Assist in the preparation of audit files and provide support for financial statement disclosures.
9. Work closely with other finance teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Part-Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, or ACA), Qualified by Experience.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
3. Experience in the financial services industry is desirable but not a necessity.
4. Strong knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with prudential requirements is a plus.
5. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
6. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
7. Strong planning and organisational skills, with a hands-on approach.
