My client, a nationalhousing developer is looking to hire an Assistant Site Manager for a traditional build scheme based in St Albans, Hertfordshire consisting of 150+ units, multi-phased scheme, HA
The ideal candidate will have experience of working as an Assistant Site manager within a production team on similar new build traditional build projects. Someone who is keen, driven and wants to build a successful career with a growing business.
Duties,
1. No2, Assistant Site Manager reporting in to the Site Manager
2. Support with inductions and toolbox talks
3. Working in line with company programmes and have a clear understanding of customer care
4. Programming
5. Ensure sub-contractors and trades staff are working inline with programme and targets
6. Ensure any issues that cannot be rectified are brought to the attention of the No'1 on site.
7. Organise all trades & Labour and sub-contractors
8. NHBC stage inspections
9. Snagging/Re-snagging
10. Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
11. Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
12. Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
13. Health and Safety is followed and adhered to
14. Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
15. Ensuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
Qualifications,
16. Assistant Site Management experience on traditional build housing schemes
17. Experience of working with HA, would be an advantage
18. Trade background, whilst being a supervisor would be an advantage
19. Willing to take on additional duties and training offered by the company
20. CSCS
21. First Aid,
