Job Description Finance Assistant We are seeking to recruit a full-time, Finance Assistant to the business. Reporting directly to the CFO, the ideal candidate will be qualified or part qualified AAT, with high attention to detail and a strong analytical focus. The role will be responsible for all finance functions within the business. Primary Job Function · Sales Invoicing, including monthly applications and reconciliation of client PO’s · Recording Purchase Invoices received and distribution to heads of departments for authorisation · Posting of transactions from the company bank accounts · Weekly and Monthly supplier payment runs · Preparation and Participation in quarterly stock counts · Assisting in daily finance tasks & any ad hoc duties Required Skills · Qualified or Part Qualified (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) · Good IT skills including Excel. Travel & Hours · You will be required to work from Monday to Friday for 8 hours a day with an hour’s unpaid break, with the core hours of work being 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, however, timings can be made more flexible in certain circumstances. · In addition to your normal hours, you will also be required to work overtime as dictated by the needs of the business, with reasonable notice. This could include unsociable hours such as evenings and weekends.
