Join Our Clinical Negligence Team as a Grade B Solicitor (or Equivalent)

We are looking for a talented Solicitor (Grade B or equivalent) to join our experienced and growing team, many of whom hold prestigious accreditations from APIL, AvMA, and the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel.
In this role, you will independently manage a variety of clinical negligence cases, ensuring they are handled with a proactive, client-focused, and commercially aware approach. Main Responsibilities for the role:
Accountable for:
* Managing an individual caseload
* Supporting and guiding the team to deliver excellent client service
* Contributing to proactive and commercial case management
* Supporting the Team Leader/Head of Department to meet financial and performance KPIs
* Effective and thorough time recording
Responsible for:
* Discussing and planning case tactics with the Team Leader/Head of Department
* Driving cases towards LOC, settlement, and service
* Ensuring relevant case information is collected and organized
* Managing cases proactively and commercially
* Coordinating case progression with internal and external parties
* Drafting legal documents including LOC and letters of instruction
* Negotiating settlements and handling proceedings as needed
* Handling litigation of claims
* Overseeing documentation and correspondence within the team
* Advising on technical case issues with support from senior staff
The ideal candidate will have:
* Recent experience managing a caseload
* 5+ years PQE or equivalent experience in Clinical Negligence
* Excellent organizational, communication, and drafting skills
* Proficiency in MS Office, Proclaim, and Excel
* Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
* Ability to mentor junior team members
* Flexibility and commitment to meeting deadlines
* Excellent client care skills
