Reporting to the Warehouse supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting Blackline’s fulfilment operations. As a Stock Technician, you will be responsible for picking, calibrating, and packing Blackline’s world class devices, ensuring our customers receive their life saving device on time, and in the highest quality condition.
Responsibilities:
* Receiving and inspecting incoming goods
* Read Sales orders to determine quantity and type of product
* Locate product in Blackline’s warehouse
* Perform device gas calibrations
* Ensure a quality product is packaged and shipped to our customers as per Working Instructions
* Ensure work areas are kept clean and well-organized
* Adhere to Health & Safety policies and quality standards
* Perform inventory cycle counts
* Ensure accurate stock rotation – FIFO
* Execute a daily report of outstanding sales orders
* Raise intercompany purchase orders
* Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with general daily tasks
About yourself :
* Clear understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control
* Accountable and dependable, meeting deadlines consistently
* Proven ability to communicate effectively and take responsibility
* Possess above average attention to detail
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Adaptable to changes in priorities and ability to drive these
* Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
* ADR & IATA Certified for DG shipments
* Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the gas detection industry
