THE ROLE
As a Marketing Manager at Dr. Lipp, you will take full ownership of our marketing function, driving growth across e-commerce, retail partnerships, and digital channels. This is a highly dynamic role that blends strategic planning with hands on execution, requiring a creative and innovative leader who can develop and implement effective marketing strategies. From crafting engaging social media, blog, and email content to building relationships with retailers and identifying new opportunities, you’ll be instrumental in driving the business forward.
You’ll also lead partnerships with influencers, brands, and events to boost brand awareness and visibility, while managing impactful campaigns that align with Dr. Lipp’s overarching goals and sustainability values. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Brand Marketing Strategy
* Develop and Own Strategy: Craft and execute the overall marketing strategy, establishing clear objectives and managing a comprehensive marketing calendar to drive brand growth and sales.
* End-to-End Campaign Management: Conceptualize and implement impactful marketing campaigns, including creative development, launch, and performance analysis, aligned with key calendar moments.
* Market Intelligence: Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
* Brand Stewardship: Manage and refine brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. Oversee branding, packaging design, and copy updates as needed.
* Awards and PR Management: Lead the awards strategy to enhance brand credibility. Organize PR and influencer outreach, including creating and delivering targeted mailers.
* Affiliate and MUA Programs: Develop and manage programs to engage makeup artists and affiliate partners, driving brand advocacy and sales.
2. Social Media Strategy and Management
* Strategy Development: Create and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the overall marketing objectives and enhances Dr. Lipp’s online presence.
* Content Creation: Plan and create engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, ensuring consistency with the brand voice and values.
* Community Engagement: Monitor and actively engage with the audience to foster community growth, build relationships, and boost brand loyalty.
* Creative Leadership: Manage the production of high-quality assets, including photography, videos, and reels, working with external creators.
* Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse performance metrics, providing insights to optimise engagement, reach, and conversions.
* Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and platform updates to ensure the brand remains relevant and competitive.
* Influencer Marketing: Identify and collaborate with key influencers on organic content for Dr.Lipp’s platforms.
3. Digital Marketing and Paid Advertising
* Advertising Expertise: Plan, implement, and manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) with clear objectives, robust budgeting, and meticulous performance tracking.
* TikTok Shop Growth: Manage the TikTok Shop, implementing innovative strategies to maximize sales on this emerging platform.
* Data Driven Insights: Monitor, analyse, and report on digital campaigns, making real time adjustments to optimize ROI and meet KPIs.
* Email Marketing: Develop, schedule, and analyse email marketing campaigns to nurture customer relationships and drive conversions.
* Content Creation: Create assets for campaigns across digital platforms, ensuring consistency with overall marketing efforts.
* Competitor Analysis: Continuously assess the competitive landscape to refine digital strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
4. Retail Marketing
* Strategic Collaboration: Create retailer specific marketing plans that drive traffic, visibility, and sales.
* Campaign Management: Ensure alignment with promotional activity and the overarching marketing calendar.
* Budget Management: Manage the trade marketing budget with a focus on efficiency and delivering a strong return on investment.
* Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives across retail channels, implementing data-driven improvements.
* POS Development: Create premium point-of-sale materials, including displays, leaflets, and product samples, coordinating with external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
5. Partnerships and Influencer Marketing
* Strategic Partnerships: Establish and manage partnerships with influencers, brands, and events to expand Dr. Lipp’s reach and drive awareness.
* Influencer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with content creators to ensure authentic representation of Dr. Lipp’s brand values.
* Opportunistic Growth: Identify and develop new opportunities to collaborate with like-minded brands and initiatives to further the brand’s mission.
6. Website and Content Management
* Website Oversight: Ensure the website is fully optimised, up to date, and aligned with current marketing campaigns and brand messaging.
* Copywriting: Produce compelling, high-quality copy for all platforms, including email marketing, product pages, and social media.
* Content Leadership: Develop and oversee the content strategy for the website and social media, ensuring engaging, consistent, and brand aligned visuals and messaging.
Skills and Experience
* Proven Senior Expertise: A minimum of 5+ years of experience leading and executing brand marketing campaigns with measurable impact on revenue and brand growth.
* Digital and Social Media: Experience managing paid advertising campaigns, social media strategies, and email marketing with clear evidence of driving results.
* Content Creation Leadership: Demonstrated ability to produce high quality, engaging content across platforms, including social media, email marketing, and website content.
* Strategic and Analytical: A strong balance of strategic planning and hands on execution, with the ability to analyse data and optimise performance.
* Brand Management Expertise: Deep understanding of brand positioning, storytelling, and maintaining consistency across all touchpoints.
* Retail and E-commerce Knowledge: Experience working with retailers and e-commerce platforms to develop integrated marketing strategies.
* Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to influence stakeholders and lead collaboration.
* Beauty Industry Experience Preferred: A background in beauty, wellness, or skincare is highly desirable.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and Shopify.
* Self Starter: Highly motivated, organised, and able to thrive in a fast paced, autonomous environment.
Salary
£40k per annum
