Job title: Commercial Motor Administrator
Working pattern: 35hpw, Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm

My client is a highly dynamic Insurance broker with Head Office based in North Shield's where the business roots firmly lie. The business supports provision of specialist insurance products for specific target markets which continues to evolve as the competitive market changes. The company’s expertise in these markets is second to none, and it prides itself on being forward-thinking and customer focused.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Commercial Motor Administrators with a positive, can-do attitude to join their growing team. These roles offer hybrid working with a North Shields office, therefore candidates must be able to commute.
* Insurance experience / knowledge desirable (Motor Insurance)
* Proven Administration experience essential
Key responsibilities include:
To assist in the general administration of the policies of commercial clients including:
* Managing workflow of emails from brokers/underwriting and validating documents in addition to working through the diary system and chaser report.
* Issuing letters and making calls when required in addition to ensuring any documentation is provided in a timely manner and that files are complete, accurate and up to date.
* Ensuring an outstanding level of customer service is provided whilst adhering to the service level agreements in place with the insurer.
* Assisting in handling the broking work as and when required.
* Communicates with brokers where necessary to provide outstanding service at all times
* Works efficiently with all departments at CISL/CBSL and with the insurer.
Key qualities & experience required include:
* Insurance knowledge desirable
* Proven Administration experience - Essential (2 years minimum)
* Good communication skills both written and oral.
* Ability to take ownership of possible problem issues before they escalate.
* Ability to work under pressure when required to react to workloads.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision and to use own initiative.
* Conversant with the relevant legislation and all FCA requirements.
* Good knowledge of all processes, systems and products handled by the Admin team including policy documents and, if applicable, schemas and underwriting guides.
* Make it easy for brokers to do business with us by building good working relationships.
