We are looking for a Hardware and Software Integration Expert for Domain Controllers and Driver Facing Camera ECUs to support all Assisted and Autonomous Driving features.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Device Verification Plan for testing vehicle, sub-system, and system requirements.
2. Define and review HIL test cases.
3. Proficient in L3, L4, VITAL rigs, and Labcar test environments.
4. Manage software flashing, data logging, and use of production and dealership tools within the sub-system and system teams.
5. Perform software smoke testing on benches and in vehicles for ADAS features.
6. Possess comprehensive knowledge of production processes during vehicle manufacturing stages.
7. Develop and understand feature specification requirement documents at the system level and sub-system specification documents at the component level.
8. Design and define the requirements for BSW software, including diagnostics and application degradation.
9. Support software delivery to various stakeholders.
10. Develop and understand software architecture (SAD, state machine, use case, activity diagram), incorporating regulatory requirements and HARA concepts according to ISO 26262.
11. Knowledge of software design standards with suppliers (e.g., STJLRs, TPJLRs, DRJLRs, CAN Tp (ISO 15765-2), DoIP, manufacturing specifications, signed software download, bootloader standards).
12. Define the requirements for diagnostics monitors, routines, services, DIDs, and DTCs for base-level software design.
13. Technical expertise in component-level cybersecurity compliance, design standards, cyber hygiene, and TARA.
14. Analyze software and vehicle issues, support production and customer issues, and implement technical mitigation plans.
15. Create End-of-Line and 8D reports, Ishikawa diagrams (Fishbone diagrams), and value-for-money documents.
16. Provide technical support to GPOs, Chapter Leads, POs, and Lead Engineers for all aspects of component and vehicle integration.
Must-Have Skills:
1. Hardware and software integration for Domain Controllers and Driver Facing Camera ECUs.
2. Development of sub-system requirements for ADAS and driver distraction systems.
3. Development of test environments such as bench rigs and simulation environments.
4. Development of automation tools for testing and productivity improvements.
5. Experience with JIRA and Xray.
6. Verification and Validation (V&V) / Testing experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
1. Class 2 or Class 3 UK driving license for vehicle testing.
