To strengthen health and care integration for the future, partners recently reviewed use of the Better Care Fund (BCF) in Suffolk and agreed recommendations to improve how the BCF can be used to drive integration forward. As the Suffolk Better Care Fund Programme Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in this agenda, taking the lead in ensuring those recommendations are delivered and establishing a strong foundation to support the health and care system’s future ambitions. You will work with senior leaders across the health and care system to identify new opportunities for joint working as well as establishing strong governance and performance management for the BCF and the schemes it funds. You will also be responsible for developing and managing Suffolk’s BCF plan for 2025/26. You will bring a systems thinking approach to allow you to work effectively across organisations in Suffolk, alongside strong skills in programme and performance management and an understanding of health and social care finance and the ability to build relationships and generate confidence and trust with a broad range of stakeholders.
