Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
* Lead a high-performing Configuration Management (CM) team, promoting collaboration and innovation. Mentor and develop team members, ensuring alignment with CM goals and fostering continuous improvement.
CM Processes & Execution:
* Design and implement scalable, resilient CM processes to manage the full lifecycle of configuration items. Ensure alignment with organisational objectives and deliver quality, secure, and reliable solutions.
Change Control & Version Management:
* Oversee change control and version management systems, ensuring transparency, traceability, and real-time reporting of configuration items.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
* Work with cross-functional teams to streamline CM workflows. Provide stakeholders with transparent data for informed decision-making and promote clear communication.
Tools & Automation:
* Optimise CM tools and drive automation to improve efficiency and accuracy in processes.
Compliance, Governance & Reporting:
* Align CM practices with policies and industry standards. Monitor performance, identify improvements, and ensure risk mitigation across projects.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
* Proven experience in CM, lifecycle management, and tools like Git, Jenkins, and Jira.
* Familiarity with standards such as Def Stan 05-57, ISO10007, or EN9100.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* SC Clearance (or eligibility).
