The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Residential Property Solicitor to join our Conveyancing team. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients receive expert legal advice and support throughout the buying, selling, or leasing process.
The role would be based in our Weston-super-Mare office, however a hybrid working pattern would be considered for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate would be able to work full time hours; Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
The salary offered for this role will be dependent on experience and will start from £35,000 per annum.
Duties
* Provide expert legal advice on residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases.
* Negotiate terms and conditions on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes.
* Manage compliance requirements in line with CQS guidelines.
* Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, leases, and transfer deeds.
* Conduct thorough due diligence and property searches to identify any potential issues.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
* Keep clients informed throughout the process, ensuring they understand each stage of their transaction.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Stay updated on changes in property law and regulations to provide the best possible service.
Requirements
* Qualified solicitor, CiLEX, Licensed Conveyancer or Fee Earning Paralegal with a valid practising certificate.
* Proven experience in residential property law is essential.
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* Proficient in using legal software and technology for case management.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
