Are you a Marketing Manager with an interest in fitness, looking for the next step in your career? Feeling stifled by the sector you work in, or needing more of a challenge?
We are working on a retained basis with one of the key players in the UK gym sector, a business that is currently going through a great deal of positive change with ambitious growth plans for 2025. With the Head of Marketing going on maternity leave in March, we're happy to be involved in the search for a superstar to bring their passion and experience to the table and ensure momentum is maintained, and every opportunity maximised.
With an ideal start date in late February or early March, this maternity cover role reports to the CEO and has full accountability for the marketing function along with the delivery of critical commercial outcomes. Part of their impressive growth plan for 2025 includes launching a new business unit overseas, as well as getting the best results out of a brand new software stack.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the company's portfolio of brands and the central company brand.
2. Fine-tune the principal drivers of new customer acquisition across the portfolio through campaign bursts, partner marketing, and retention activity.
3. Position and drive the company brand to acquire new trade partners.
4. Create and deliver the marketing calendar and manage partnerships and seasonal promotions.
5. Lead a small marketing team and work closely with other internal departments.
6. Oversee key relationships with external agencies that contribute vital resources to your team's efforts.
Qualifications:
1. A track record of success in a multi-brand environment.
2. Execution of acquisition and retention campaigns across a range of off and online channels in both B2C and B2B arenas.
3. Experience working with trade partners, affiliates, or franchisees to drive business growth, preferably in a bricks-and-mortar business model.
4. A keen eye for detail and data.
5. Strong communication skills, able to influence and motivate both internally and externally.
There will also most likely be a call for travel to Ireland and possibly slightly further afield. The company thrives in a focused, hands-on environment where everyone from the CEO down will roll up their sleeves to get the job done, as well as make the tea! The role is based in Milton Keynes with 2 days from home, so is commutable from across Buckinghamshire, parts of Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire. #J-18808-Ljbffr
