You will be working for a well-established, privately owned engineering organisation based in the North West, who have an excellent reputation with their clients as industry leaders in their specialist field of engineering services. Your new company is crying out for an experienced Sales Engineer to allow them to continue their recent run of growth and expansion, through the acquisition of new business and developing their current relationships.
Your new role
In your new role as Sales Engineer, you will cover the North West area of England, in a predominantly mobile and site-based sales engineering position. Your responsibilities will include working collaboratively with internal technical teams to provide specialist engineering solutions to a wide variety of engineering clients in sectors such as chemical, food, process and heavy engineering. You will need to develop current relationships with your new company's current client base, as well as creating new business with target engineering organisations.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this Sales Engineer job, you will need to have experience in a previous role, coupled with qualifications relating to the field, i.e. HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar. In order to excel in this position, you will ideally have come from a technical background in heavy engineering, engineering services or mechanical engineering.
