This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to gain valuable experience working with children who have complex special educational needs. Working as a SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be based in a specialist setting which Caters for SEMH pupils ( Social, Emotional and Mental Health ). During the school day, you will provide tailored 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils engage with learning in a structured and nurturing environment. You will assist with all lessons, provide emotional and behavioural support, and work closely with teachers .
We need a compassionate and dedicated graduate who is eager to develop their experience in SEN education. A background in psychology, education, or a related field is beneficial, but the key requirement is a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Patience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn are essential for this SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant role !

SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant
* Availability Mon- Fri
* Desire to support children (3-16)
* Great rapport builder
* Good level of academic ability
* Calm kind and positive - very proactive
* Organised and able to take instruction
* Can participate in, manage, and assist struggling pupils in small intervention groups or 1:1 academic session
* A Clear Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or the willingness to complete an immediate application
* Fully Check-able work history
* Appropriate Degree
