Ashton Recruitment are hiring a Forklift Driver for our client based in Belfast Harbour. Our client offers a great working environment along with various training opportunities to upskill. This position will be full time with a view of becoming permanent after a 12-week probationary period.
Position: Forklift Driver
Location: Belfast Harbour
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Rate of Pay: £13.10 per hour
Overtime: £16.01 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Duties will include (but not limited to):
* Operating various sizes of forklifts (Training provided)
* Unloading steel from ships
* Loading and off-loading steel trailers for customer transportation
* General stevedoring duties as required
* Adhering to all health and safety procedures as set out by the client
* Flexibility to work around the clients' requirements as overtime may be required
Essential Criteria:
* Valid Counterbalance License
* Previous logistical or warehouse experience
* The desire to train on other various types of machinery including operating a combi lift.
