Job summary To provide a highly specialised and autonomous clinical perfusion service to patients and other members of the multidisciplinary team within the cardiothoracic directorate. In addition this post requires the management and service delivery, from a clinical perfusion aspect, of the directorate's extra corporeal membrane oxygenation service (ECMO). Lead and manage the development of perfusion practice to enhance the patient care pathway for patients requiring ECMO therapy. This will include working with staff of all disciplines, developing a perfusion vision and strategy for ECMO therapy in the Trust.
