SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) – Part Time
We are a popular, village school looking for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to offer tailored support in both 1:1 and group support settings. This role is on a part time basis and is for 15 hours per week (term time) attending the school on a daily basis.
The role is a fixed term role until August 2025 with a possibility that it can be extended to a permanent role going forward beyond this.

Byfleet Primary School is a smaller than average primary school with 194 pupils located in a village setting. We are looking for a creative and caring SEND Teaching Assistant who:
● Has a patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to managing complex behaviours and supporting emotional development, using trauma informed practices such as the PACE model● Has an understanding of safeguarding practices and a commitment to creating a safe, inclusive environment for all students● Has a willingness to participate in ongoing training related to SEMH support and behaviour management.
● Has the ability to work closely, in partnership with colleagues, as a team member and be able to overcome and resolve challenges
● Is self-directed, proactive, highly organised and punctual with good attendance
● Shows enthusiasm, dedication, creativity and flexibility
● Maintains a calm and consistent approach to working with the children
● Uses good communication skills with colleagues, children and parents. Has a great sense of humour and fun● Demonstrates professional behaviour including professional confidentiality
