Cover Supervisor Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire Pay: £100 - £120 per day Start dates: 26th February 2025 or Easter starts available Simply Education is currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to support our specialist and alternative provisions across Cheshire. This role involves delivering pre-planned learning episodes to students in a structured and supportive environment. About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring students continue to learn in the absence of their regular teacher. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-set work, and support students in their learning journey. Due to the nature of this role, candidates must have either a degree or prior experience as a Teaching Assistant. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, resourceful, and confident, with strong behaviour management skills. An excellent level of spoken and written English is essential. Ensuring students remain on task and engaged in their learning. Providing support to students, helping them to understand and complete their work. Liaising with teaching staff to provide feedback on student progress. Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students. Using differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Encouraging metacognition and self-regulation among learners to promote independent learning.
