A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Activity Coordinator to join our well-established team.
The vacancies will be based on Fern Ward at Airedale Centre For Mental Health, which is the acute psychiatric ward, caring for males aged 18-65 who are experiencing acute mental illness.
TEMPORARY LOCATION: WILLOW WARD at LYNFIELD MOUNT HOSPITAL UNTIL OCTOBER 2025
As an Activity Coordinator, you will work within the occupational therapy team structure and alongside the ward to assist in the delivery of meaningful activity on the ward and within the local community, and support recovery and transition from hospital to home. You will work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team both on the ward and in the community. In addition, you will be involved in service development within the relevant area.
We are seeking innovative individuals, able to work collaboratively with service users and staff, and integrate well into the multidisciplinary team on the ward.
The new provision will incorporate a 7-day service with shift working to enhance the therapeutic offer for service users, and will include a combination of the following hours:
* Early Shift - 07:30 – 15:30
* Mid Shift - 09:00 – 17:00
* Late Shift - 12:00 – 20:00
