Senior Residential Support Worker

£27,040 + £50 per sleep-in
I am looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to support children and young people in a fantastic 3 bedded residential home for children and young people in a lovely village just outside Northampton.
In this role you will:
· Be responsible for providing day to day care for children and young people
· Work as part of a dedicated, ensuring that care teams are maintaining their therapeutic approach and providing direct work with the children
· Lead shifts and manage a staff team
· Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters
· Ensure the home is kept to a good standard, including cooking and cleaning and of course safeguarding welfare at all times
· Support the business, clinical and social development of the service
To be successful in the role you will need:
· NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent)
· Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviours
· Experience of leading shifts
· Experience of supervising care staff
· The ability to work to a rota, including days, sleep-ins, weekends and statutory holidays
· A full UK Manual driving licence
