1-to-1 SEN Support Assistant – Ebbw Vale Location: Ebbw Vale Pay: £12.82 per hour or £83.85 per day Full-Time Are you passionate about supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? We are looking for a patient and adaptable SEN Support Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with pupils in a Special school in Ebbw Vale. This full-time role is perfect for someone with personal or professional experience in supporting individuals with ALN, even if you haven't worked in a school before. Key Responsibilities: Providing one-to-one assistance to pupils during lessons to help them stay engaged and comfortable. Supporting pupils with personal care tasks such as toileting or feeding when necessary. Implementing strategies to address and manage challenging behaviours effectively. Attending relevant training sessions to enhance your skills. Building strong, consistent relationships with pupils to support their progress and emotional well-being. What We’re Looking For: Personal or professional experience in supporting individuals with ALN/SEN. A flexible and empathetic approach to adapting to pupils’ unique needs. A commitment to providing consistency and routine to help pupils thrive. An Enhanced DBS (we can assist with the application).
