We are looking for a talented and motivated Kitchen Team Leader to lead the Kitchen at The Dragonfly Hotel in Bury St Edmunds, working with the hotels management team to maximize guest experience. You will be tasked with cooking food to an outstanding level to provide to all of our customers and we are looking for experience in either a hotel or pub environment. We are looking for our Kitchen Team Leader to have: Excellent team leader qualities Works calmly under pressure, great interpersonal skills and initiative Great food quality and presentation- creating food to be proud of The ability to deliver high standards consistently Outstanding attention to detail High standards of food safety, health and hygiene Clear communication skills Kitchen Team Leader responsibilities for this role will include but aren't limited to: Preparing and cooking to established recipes and quality standards Support with the management of deliveries- produce, food stuffs, equipment and audits Managing the Kitchen Department including team, events and budgets with support from the General Manager Maintain the freshness and quality of ingredients as per Company Standards and Food Hygiene Standards. Complying to Food Safety and other Regulations and Rules as set out by the business Organising and labelling the kitchen and it's storage Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
