We currently require a:
Yield Analyst
JOB ROLE:
Collate yield information and question any discrepancies to produce the explanations for the yield results.
Validation of underlying data used in yield reporting to ensure accurate reports.
Use own initiative to target areas for focus and investigate areas of poor performance.
Investigate variances between physical stock and system stock
Ensure that RM, Tote bins and finished good part tray availability and appropriate utilisation
Ensure part tray stock is segregated correctly into the different types.
Attendance at yield meetings to lead reasons for discrepancies and poor performance on yields and any issues with part tray management.
Compare non-conformance report back to spec reported on the yield reports.
Ensure that communication between days and nights is maintained and produce a handover report to ensure anything outstanding is completed, and act upon the other shifts report.
Complete regular tare reviews, when aware of any change in products ensure additional reviews are carried out. Work with technical to ensure the system is updated.
Complete spot checks of tares by looking at what is being used compared to the system.
Assist operations in project work and be able to cover key aspects
Assist in the trials for new products, and any additional trials as requested by management. This involves ensuring all data required is collected, recorded and the results reported.
Giveaway reporting, generating reports to management and informing in a timely manner any large deviations from target.
Support the waste control within the business by sending waste reports and completing waste reconciliations. Segregating part trays that cannot be used in production into waste and selloffs.
Observations on line, questioning processes, challenging production management with performance.
Liaising with warehouse stock controllers to ensure raw material and finished good stock movements are reflected in the systems, and informing them of any discrepancies that need investigating.
Liaising with the technical department to ensure stock on hold and disposed of is clearly communicated, reflected in the system and therefore included in yield calculations appropriately.
Checking new products and system codes for reporting are up to date and are correct in the reports we use, and on the tables of codes the part tray operatives use.
Ensure that new procedures for recording waste are communicated to all relevant personnel when waste recording codes change.
Liaising with 3rd. party contractors regarding bulk waste collections
Other ad hoc duties as requested
REQUIREMENTS
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
* Good Butchery knowledge is desirable.
* Ability to work using your own initiative or as part of a team.
* Ability to communicate in English essential
* Have a willingness to learn and the ability to pass on knowledge of learnings gained.
* Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, not essential.
* IT skills is essential and have good knowledge of Microsoft office, Powerpoint, word and Excel.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Education Requirements, GSCE Mathematics, IT, English & Science Grades A - Cs
