We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead the management of international taxes and transfer pricing for Centrica. You will act act as the lead tax business partner for overseas activity where there is no local tax support Location - Windsor / Flexible Home Working The Role Manage the provision of international tax advice to the Group including on BEPS Pillar 2, profit repatriation and expansion into new territories. Lead transfer pricing across the Group, setting the strategy for optimising intra-group transactions and ensuring compliance with global documentation requirements, including managing the out-sourced preparation. Act as the lead tax business partner for the Business Unit’s overseas activities within the remit of the role, providing tax advice, engaging external advisers and managing the global compliance outsource provider. Support global mobility providing advice to the Reward team and business units on global mobility tax issues. Ensure a robust control framework is established and maintained for all direct taxes outside of the UK, maintaining governance and risk documentation for direct taxes for the operating units. Work with the Tax Manager Transformation and other Centrica teams to deliver continuous process improvement for International Taxes. Assist Tax Directors and Tax Managers in delivering training or other support to ensure the group remains compliant with all direct tax obligations outside of the UK. The Person Tax qualification and tax work experience in practice or in-house By exception, an accounting qualification and/or relevant tax technical or reporting experience can be considered. Experience and general technical knowledge of international tax, transfer pricing and global reporting requirements. Experience of dealing with European jurisdictions. Ability to research tax technical issues with minimum direction.
