Job Title: Lead, Systems Engineering - RC135 Computer Systems Administrator Job Code: 016417 Job Location: RAF Base, Waddington, UK - (Responsibilities must be performed on-site) Job Schedule: 5/8 Work Schedule - (Monday thru Friday) Job Description: L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead, Computer Systems Administrator (CSA) for our location at RAF Waddington, UK to provide ground mission system support for the Royal Air Force's RC-135 fleet. These include: Essential functions / responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Leads/Provides support for all RC-135 operational and ground training missions by preparing and recovering mission software loads - Conducts recoveries of all missions by extracting critical data for customer use - Provides Ground Data Processing System (GDPS) operations support, data import/export operations and mission data archiving - Assists with GDPS hardware and software malfunction isolation, and configuration for special operations modes and testing as required - Manages GDPS daily operations and make recommendations to correct system anomalies - Responsible for GDPS database and software configuration control, and login/password security controls - Configure, update, and sustain network/cryptographic equipment - Manage and maintain enterprise equipment and SATCOM data links. Job Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. - Must possess an active DoD Top Secret (SCI) security clearance with the ability to maintain, which requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also possess or be able to obtain a COMPTIA Security certification within one year of employment. Must be able to pass a polygraph within the first year. - Minimum of 5 years' experience operating/sustaining/supporting RC-135 aircraft and/or ground mission systems - Thorough experience operating and maintaining computers, networks, and cryptographic equipment - Must be worldwide deployable with the ability to travel up to 20% and able to work various shifts and weekends as needed.
