IT Support Engineer with 3+ years of experience needed to join a leading local IT support services company in Motherwell on a full-time basis.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client support, troubleshooting and resolving desktop, server, and hardware/software incidents, and contributing to improving internal processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide timely and effective support to clients, ensuring their IT needs are met
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including desktop, server, and hardware/software incidents
* Contribute to the development and implementation of internal processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
* Install, maintain, and support new hardware and applications
* Manage and prioritize multiple open cases and mini-projects
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in IT and security compliance
* Administer backups, system monitoring, and performance checks
Required Experience:
* At least 3 years of experience in an MSP or IT support environment
* Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
* Proficient in Windows desktop and server installation/administration
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 Administration and Support, including M365 SharePoint and M365 Exchange
* Networking knowledge: routers, managed switches, access points
* A logical problem solver with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
* Experience using a helpdesk system to manage incidents
