Are you a graduated Civil Engineer who's gained some on-site experience but looking for a better work-life balance? Are you looking for a role in the industry where you can grow professionally and develop new skills? We have an excellent opportunity for our client, and this could be the role for you.
Our client is a growing civil engineering consultancy based in the Greater Belfast area. They are looking to add to their team with a civil engineer who has ideally gained some previous experience on-site working for contractors. Due to solid and continuous growth in the company's order book, they are looking to expand their team. The company offers diverse experience in a number of regulated markets, supported by very experienced managers who have worked across various sectors of civil engineering and can pass down their knowledge. They are also interested in supporting you on your journey towards chartership.
This is an exciting opportunity to continue your career with a company that embraces hybrid working. You will be given a market-competitive salary based on ability and can join a growing business that is expanding its client base and future workload, having identified a niche in the market with few current competitors.
Duties
As a Civil Engineer, you will be working in an established team to ensure that construction programs and schedules are created and maintained. You will be examining designs and identifying clashes while liaising closely with your line manager. You will be creating method statements and plans and liaising with clients and third parties.
Requirements
You should hold a civil engineering degree or equivalent.
You must hold a UK driver's licence.
Ideally, you should have gained some years of on-site experience within civil engineering contractors.
