About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Legal Disrepair Specialist to provide expert legal advice on housing management, disrepair claims, and litigation. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of cases, working closely with operational teams to ensure compliance and risk mitigation while keeping residents at the heart of decision-making.
This role is a 12 month FTC with opportunity to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on legal disrepair, housing litigation, and risk management
* Ensure cases are handled in line with practice management standards
* Draft and manage legal documentation, witness statements, and evidence
* Identify and prioritise high-risk legal cases, proposing risk mitigation strategies
* Support teams in handling legal referrals to help residents remain in their homes
About You
* Legal qualification with experience in housing litigation (disrepair, possession, injunctions, etc.)
* Strong problem-solving and case management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Ability to work collaboratively with operational and legal teams
* Valid Practising Certificate (or equivalent) for handling Reserved Work
