Production Manager - Greater Manchester

The role
1. Forecasting/reordering/resourcing of materials.
2. QC Management - Carry out regular checks, assessments, and internal audits.
3. Driving standards and monitoring quality controls to reduce issues and delays.
4. Oversee induction and training of new production personnel and to coordinate training matrix throughout departments.
5. Hands-on involvement for health and safety across all departments.
6. Identify training requirements across all departments.
7. Hands-on responsibility for annual programme of internal and external audits.
8. Manage maintenance and servicing for all departments.
The profile
1. NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely.
2. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and support.
3. Must be able to plan and organise activities of self to achieve balance of proactive and reactive tasks.
4. Must be able to communicate effectively.
5. Practical experience of medium batch production process.
6. Have previous experience of and demonstrate strong negotiation and administrative skills.
7. Confident problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.
8. A hands-on leader who is ready to roll up their sleeves when needed.
