The role of Technical Trainer is pivotal to the success and effectiveness of our colleagues. Focused on delivering an effective and engaging first day experience for all colleagues you will also be responsible for supporting Managers with any technical or product related training to ensure colleagues are knowledgeable in their role. Role & Responsibilities Planning Manage and Track all training requests (in line with agreed process) Plan upskill requirements Plan time to evaluate training and competence Training schedules are created to allow for large groups and different learning styles. Evaluation Delivery Deliver instructor led training following the principles of learning Use of various visual aids Adapts to last minute changes/challenges positively. Assessments All learning is fully assessed using a range of assessment techniques The frequency and type of assessment meets the delivery and content. Assessments cover knowledge, skills and behaviours where appropriate. TNA/LNA Identify the learning curve for each department and identify ways to reduce the timeline to competence. Conduct regular LNA/PNA per department to identify gaps in skill, knowledge and behaviours Using data captured, identify trends linked to training performance and current performance. Record Keeping Log all training attendance & performance in the L&D Database Log all scores and feedback from all questionnaires Log feedback from LNA Record and report on planned v actual for attendance Knowledge Develops sound L&D knowledge Proactively seek out stakeholders to keep product knowledge up to date Works closely with the Salesforce Team to ensure correct use of Salesforce is applied across all departments. You will be: Articulate A confident communicator both written and verbal Posess the ability to command the attention of learners in a classroom or remote setting Comfortable to challenge the status quo in a professional and positive manner You will have excellent attention to detail and record keeping skills You will work well independently and as part of a team Focused on your own learning and be willing to work towards a professional qualification You are creative and have an ethos that training should be funfilled and free from fear You understand that training is not delivered via PowerPoint and should engage the learners from the outset.
